Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs): Assess lung function to diagnose conditions such as asthma, COPD, and restrictive lung diseases.
Bronchoscope: A procedure using a flexible scope to visualize the airways, obtain samples for biopsy, and remove mucus plugs or foreign objects.
Thoracentesis: Removal of fluid or air from the pleural space surrounding the lungs to relieve symptoms and obtain diagnostic samples.
Biopsy: Obtaining tissue samples from the lungs or airways to diagnose conditions such as lung cancer, interstitial lung diseases, or infections.
